📄 Overview
Serpong Fresh is a meat shop operating in the Tangerang area. Currently, all inventory management activities are handled manually, with the best-case scenario involving the use of Excel spreadsheets.
☹️ Problem
The current manual inventory management system at Serpong Fresh presents several challenges:
Lack of real-time stock visibility.
Difficulty in tracking stock movement.
Inefficient order management and restocking processes.
Increased risk of errors due to manual data entry.
Limited access to historical data for decision-making.
🫡 Role and Responsibilities
In this project, I am taking on the dual role of Product Designer and Project Manager.
Product Designer
Create design mockups and UI/UX concepts.
Develop prototypes and present them to the Serpong Fresh team.
Handover finalized designs to the development team.
Project Manager
Gather system requirements from the Serpong Fresh team.
Communicate with web developers regarding system development.
Handover the completed system to the Serpong Fresh team and provide user training.
🎯 Goal
The goal is to develop a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) for an inventory management system tailored to Serpong Fresh’s needs:
Inbound Tracking – Recording the movement of goods.
Inventory Tracking – Real-time monitoring of stock levels and product availability.
Product Management – Adding, editing, and categorizing products.
Product Processing – Converting raw products into processed products, such as turning whole chickens into minced chicken meat.
Product History Log – The product history log will record all data changes in the product SKU.
Final Design 🎨
Stock Opname (Inventory Tracking)
Stock Opname is used to match the quantity of goods in the system with the actual stock in the storage warehouse.
Product Management
Users can add products, edit them, and set low stock alerts for a product SKU.
Product Processing
The product processing menu will convert one product into another. For example, a whole cut chicken into minced chicken.
Product History Log
The product history log will record all data changes in the product SKU, including price changes, quantity updates, product inbound, and more.
